Givgive care

We handle rented items with care. But accidents can happen to everyone. While you rent with Givgive, we cover 90% of the repair or for damages of any kind!

For each rental with insurance coverage, the borrower pays an insurance fee. In case of damage the borrower pays a handling fee of 10%, maximum EUR 100.

If item is damaged

For borrower

  • Report the damage to the item's owner immediately.
  • Take photos of the damage and the course of the damage and send them to the owner.
  • Inform the owner about the exact course of the damage.

For owner

  • Report the damage to Givgive support immediately and no later than 2 days after the end of the rental period.
  • For payout, make sure your IBAN number is up to date in your settings.
  • Cancel any scheduled rentals for this item that cannot be completed due to the damage.
